Worship

Our congregation’s expression of Sunday worship can be described as mostly traditional. More contemporary chorus are sometimes sung, but the congregational singing of hymns is what best helps us worship God and encounter God meaningfully each Sunday morning. The sacrament of Holy Communion is every first Sunday of the month.

When you arrive at worship or Sunday School, you can expect a warm welcome and a safe place for your children to be loved and nurtured in the Christian faith. We strive to be balanced in expressing our joy that you are with us, but we do not want to embarrass you so we will not point you out in worship or ask you to stand.

Children are welcome in worship at all times. Childcare is also provided during Sunday School and worship if parents choose to take advantage of this service. We practice Safe Sanctuary practices, which means your child will never be alone with another adult and all our teachers have gone through a background check. There is also a Young Disciples Time in most worship services so the pastor can spend some teaching time with the children. Children may then be dismissed to childcare and later return for Holy Communion.
